Hi, I am trying to help raise funds for the 6 scouts/explorers who have been chosen to go to the 22nd World Jamboree.

Please can I ask you all if you would be so kind as to help me do this by sending me your unwanted, unused, discontinued badges that you or any other group in your district have.

I will post frequent news and updates on funds raised here.

PM me please and I will respond very quickly

I am sure you will understand that I cant pay you but be assured that the money raised will go into the fund

CAMP BADGES, OLD SCOUT, CUB BADGES, BEAVER BADGES or any OLD PARTICIPATION BADGES YOU HAVE LYING ABOUT

The amount so far I have raised is £300

Good News, the total profit now raised on 29 July 2010 from the sale of unwanted badges now stands at £428.80. WONDERFUL AMOUNT and please can you have a look if you have any badges that you can kindly donate to this worthwhile cause

Are you selling them on ebay? Perhaps you could let us know when you list them, some of us might be able to help by buying....

Yes I am selling them on ebay. I am going to put some on this afternoon for 3 days, my selling name is matthew199620002 if anyone is intersted

After just getting up after a fantastic week on Red Rose with 1500 people ebay is about the only activity I can manage today

You seem to be doing very well. Just a shame that I hadn't thought about this as 4 members from my Scout Group, together with my son, are part of a 5 strong team from Taceham and Kennet Valley District, who are also going along next year.
I have managed to set up an Easyfundraising page from our link below. Perhaps that is something you could also try to help raise more??
